GET A DEDICATED SNOOKER COACH

LEWIS COOK

As a WPBSA Level 2 and SightRight Gold Level accredited coach, I specialise in correcting alignment faults and developing repeatable, reliable technique. My coaching approach is structured, practical and focused on measura ble improvement.

I am based in West Sussex and cover a wide area including Brighton, Chichester and Portsmouth. I also travel outside of Sussex where required for dedicated sessions.

SIGHTING TRAINING

Correct sighting is the foundation of consistent potting. Through structured assessment and SightRight-based methods, players learn how to stand correctly on the line of aim, identify alignment errors and develop a reliable pre-shot routine. This removes guesswork and builds true confidence over the ball.

CUE ACTION DEVELOPMENT

A straight, repeatable cue action is essential for control and accuracy. Sessions focus on improving stance stability, cue delivery and follow-through to eliminate unwanted side and inconsistent striking. Technical adjustments are reinforced through practical table drills.

BREAK BUILDING

Break building is about more than potting balls. Players are coached on shot selection, table management and maintaining control under pressure. Structured routines help develop the ability to stay in amongst the balls and build higher, more consistent breaks.

POSITIONAL CONTROL

Effective positional play allows you to think one shot ahead. Coaching focuses on cue ball routes, spin application and controlling angles to make the game easier. By improving positional awareness, players reduce difficult recovery shots and increase scoring opportunities.

TECHNICAL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME

Structured practice routines form a key part of one-to-one coaching. Players receive targeted drills to reinforce alignment, cue delivery and cue ball control between sessions, ensuring steady long-term improvement.

What results can you expect?

Many players notice immediate improvements in potting accuracy once alignment is corrected. Continued progress comes from consistent practice and applying technical adjustments correctly over time.

How often should you book lessons?

Frequency depends on your goals. Some players prefer weekly sessions to build momentum, while others choose fortnightly or monthly coaching to monitor progress and refine technique.
